How do I erase it?

Q&A

How do I draw on it?

The included light pen(s) emit a soft purple light, which is perfect for creating the glow effect on your GlowMate. The purple Bolderglow pen has both an on/off button and an "always on" switch, making it easy to draw with either mode.

How long does the glow last?

The glow dims on its own, and after about a minute the glow will have dimmed enough to draw over again. In a very dark room the glow will totally disappear over 1-2 hours.

Can I wash my GlowMate?

Yes! You can treat your GlowMate like any other stuffed animal. We recommend machine washing on delicate cycle and air dry. The glow will not fade with washing.

What kind of light works on GlowMates?

Purple light will create the strongest glow, but you can also use a regular white light for a moderate glow effect. In addition to the included light pens, additional animal-shaped purple light pens are also available on our website.

How much ambient light is okay?

Your GlowMate glows brightly enough to be used during the day, but for best performance we recommend using your GlowMate in a dimly lit room. Since GlowMates absorb light, in a very bright room it will be more difficult to see the glow effect.

Very Cool Plushie

I purchased the Rabbit Easter GlowMate for my 5yo son, who told me he was scared of the dark. I bought this to try and make nighttime more fun and less scary for him. I do wish the stencils worked a bit better. They're pretty small and turn out blurry, but other than that my son is having fun and likes playing with it and that's what matters.
