Glowscape is a glow-in-the-dark drawing surface that has an unbelievably bright glow when light is applied. Each Glowscape Drawing Kit includes 3 light pens that create a brilliant green glow. The glow magically fades on its own, and within a few minutes it is dim enough to draw over again (and again and again!).

How does it work?

Glowscape is made of 100% glow-in-the-dark film, which absorbs purple light and creates a luminous glow. The glow fades naturally so there is no need to erase, and no need to "charge" the surface. Use it indefinitely!

FAQ

How long does the glow last?

The green glow dims on its own, and after a few minutes the glow will have dimmed enough to draw over again. The glow as seen in a pitch black room will totally disappear over 4-6 hours. 

What kind of light activates Glowscape?

Purple light pens (included) will create the strongest glow, but you can also use a regular white light for a moderate glow effect.

How do I set up Glowscape?

Included in the Glowscape kit are 8 adhesive dots for sticking Glowscape to your wall or surface. We also offer an aluminum frame option, which is great for taking Glowscape on-the-go.

How much ambient light can I have near my Glowscape?

Glowscape is bright enough to be used during the day, but for best performance we recommend using Glowscape in a dimly lit room. Since Glowscape absorbs light, in a very bright room it will be more difficult to see the glow effect.

Is Glowscape radioactive?

Definitely not! Glowscape is luminescent, meaning is only glows when charged by a light source. The glowing ingredient in the plastic is strontium aluminate, which is considered non-toxic and inert.

Worth Every Penny!

I purchased the glowscapes to use in my classroom. They arrived quickly and in great shape. The products are bigger than I expected (which is great for the students). Glowscapes create an amazing hands-on learning environment. One of my pens wasn’t working upon arrival. I sent them an email and heard back within the hour. They sent out more than one pen to replace the defective one and followed up to make sure it arrived. In this day and age that level of customer service is unheard of. I can’t say enough good things about these products or the company. We will definitely be a repeat customer.
