My granddaughters love it! It is so fun, plus it’s great fine motor practice!
It's really unique and such a blast to draw on. My 3 year old is practicing writing her name at night which is awesome!
“This is SO cool!!” That was our 7 year old grandson’s reaction to his birthday present. The Glowscape is a unique, engaging product for all ages.
Dreamed Up at Home
Glowscape was invented in our basement during the COVID lockdown, when we were looking for something to keep our four kids busy, creative, and entertained without making a mess. It quickly became a favorite, keeping them occupied for hours with endless, reusable fun. We loved it so much that we wanted to share it with other families, too. Glowscape especially resonated with early educators looking for engaging ways to inspire creativity and learning in the classroom.
Today, Glowscape is a 24" × 36" wall-mounted, glow-in-the-dark drawing space that gives kids room to imagine, create, and explore. With two purple light pens and an alphabet stencil, little artists can draw glowing masterpieces, practice letters, and start all over again whenever inspiration strikes. Made with child safe materials and certified to meet applicable US quality and safety standards, Glowscape brings mess-free, screen-free creativity into homes and classrooms alike.
Absolutely. We use non-toxic, eco-friendly materials that are safe for kids to handle. No ink, no chemicals—just light-reactive fabric and surfaces.
Our kits are designed for children aged 3 and up. Younger kids love the free-form glowing scribbles, while older kids enjoy the stencil art and detailed drawing challenges.
Glowscape is made of a photoluminescent surface that temporarily glows when exposed to light. The included purple light pens activate the glow, although white light (for example, a standard flashlight) will also produce a moderate glow effect.
The purple light pen requires batteries (included). The drawing board itself needs no power — just the pen's light to activate the glow effect.
Drawings typically glow for 3–5 minutes before fading, depending on how much light is in the room. In darker environments, the glow lasts even longer!
Zero mess, guaranteed. There's no ink, no paint, and no markers involved — just the purple light pen. Nothing transfers to clothes, furniture, or skin.
You don't need to! The board self-resets as the glow fades. No wiping, no washing — it's always ready for the next drawing session.
Each kit includes the 24 x 36 inch glow drawing board, two (2) purple light pens, alphabet stencil, and adhesive hanging dots - everything your child needs to start creating right out of the box.
We typically ship within 1–2 business days. Delivery times vary by location — you'll receive a tracking link as soon as your order is on its way.
Yes! We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you or your child aren't completely happy with your Glowscape kit, we'll make it right — no questions asked.

"We love this! I got it for my kids for Christmas but it’s even fun for adults too, ha! It works great in the daylight but is really neat to see how bright the glow is in the dark."
"Our whole family has fun with it! I love that it is such a fun, no pressure educational tool as well. "
"Awesome item. My 4 year old is having fun drawing everything lol its cute. :)"
"What an awesome toy! We love going in her room at bedtime and as a family drawing on it together! My daughter loves it and I can see her playing with it for a long time! "
"Great product. Very easy to set up. Amazing idea. My daughter and I have a lot of fun playing with it."
Great product. Very easy to set up. Amazing idea. My daughter and I have a lot of fun playing with it. The only bad thing Is I leave to early in the morning to leave her notes on it. It disappeared before she woke up. Lol. It’s great. Thank you for the good times.
I got the Glowscape Drawing kit, a pack of stencils and a few extra light pens for my nephews birthday. He should have opened it last, not first haha. All three nephews were enthralled with it and spent a while doodling before he even went back to open other gifts. It was a big hit for sure. I didn't notice the kit came with 2 pens, so I ordered extras, good thing because all 3 of the kids plus 2 adults were down there drawing on it.
Works great, kids love it,unfortunately one pen is already in need of new batteries. Wish it took somthing like AAA.
My granddaughters love it!
It is so fun, plus it’s great fine motor practice!
I purchased this for my preschool classroom and the children love it!!! It’s one of my most popular learning centers!!
This is a great addition for my son‘s new sensory closet/corner
I am not usually a sucker for online ads, but this time...they got me. I am SO glad they did! I am the Children's Pastor for a church in Austin, Texas and this is HANDS DOWN the best thing I have purchased for our ministry all year. Such a cost effective and creative way to add a screen free, fun and engaging activity to our classrooms. The kids are amazed and the adults like them too, haha! As a former manager for Marriott Hotels, customer service is also really important to me. I had to reach out about a question and got a prompt response, and they went above and beyond to assist me with what I needed. Not only is this product phenomenal, but the company is amazing too. An absolute win-win. These should be in every school classroom and children's ministry. Five stars is not enough!
I was a little hesitant to purchase these, because reviews were just so so…We are absolutely delighted with it! Our grandsons love to draw on it. It easily applies to the wall and no clean up. Great job Bolderglow!
This was honestly a great buy, my son is entertained for hours and it’s such a cool activity.
I bought this to use with children at a pediatric clinic but my grandkids took it over so I have to buy another. I'm always looking for a fun way to incorporate fine motor skills and working on pre-writing and visual tracking. The little pens are easy to use.
That was our 7 year old grandson’s reaction to his birthday present. His parents sent us a sweet photo of a very happy boy and his glowing artwork. The Glowscape is a unique, engaging product for all ages.
A word about their excellent customer service… the first Glowscape arrived damaged during shipping. I sent a simple email with photos of the damaged packaging and Glowscape and had a response within hours… on a Sunday! They made it right, no fuss at all. Excellent customer service.
Works just as described. My 5 and 3 year old grandkids love drawing in the dark. Definitely reminiscent of the flash screen we had when my own kids were young. I’m
We love this! I got it for my kids for Christmas but it’s even fun for adults too, ha! It works great in the daylight but is really neat to see how bright the glow is in the dark. Love the variety of pens for the kids. Just such a simple setup for the amount of fun it brings!
My 6 year old boys absolutely think this is the coolest thing ever! Our whole family has fun with it! I love that it is such a fun, no pressure educational tool as well. We practice writing, math, etc and they are so eager because it glows.
Bought the bunny and the space glowscape and they are both really cool. Happy kiddos <3
My daughter is 8 years old and she loves it! If she ever needs to express her feelings, she does it through writing or drawing.
Wow this is a great product! Simple and engaging for students to explore and work on writing skills.
My 4 year old is having fun drawing everything lol its cute. :)
Got this for my kids off an instagram ad. It's a poster-sized heavy sheet and comes rolled in a box along with the animal pens and instructions. I was able to flatten it pretty easily just by rolling it the opposite way. I'm pretty impressed how bright it is, the glow stars my kids have look dim now. It's a lot of fun to draw on.
Got this for my kids for Christmas but I ended up giving it to them early. So glad I did because they're having so much fun with it everyday!
The kids love it. It's bright & very user friendly
Really neat product. The kids, wife and I really like it.
My 3 year old grandson loves it. As does the adults.
