You can doodle on GlowMates from head to tail. Light up their tail, belly, paws, ears - even their nose!

The light pens create a magical glow that fades within a few minutes, which makes playing with your GlowMate perfect for a pre-bedtime activity with no mess. The glow is bright enough to see in moderate light, or make your room dark to see them really shine!

Each GlowMate comes with two (2) Bolderglow light pens. We also sell additional animal-shaped light pens so you can customize your drawing fun.

How do I erase it?

No need to erase! The glow fades naturally in a few minutes, so you can reuse your Glowmate over and over again. The glow effect does not run out.

How long does the glow last?

The glow will be bright for a few minutes in a dimly lit room and visible for up to an hour in a very dark room.

How do I draw on it?

Each GlowMate comes with 2 light pens that emit a soft purple light, which is perfect for creating the glow effect on your GlowMate. The pens have an easy to depress button so you can control the light easily.

How long does the glow last?

The glow dims on its own, and after about a minute the glow will have dimmed enough to draw over again. In a very dark room the glow will totally disappear over 1-2 hours.

Can I wash my GlowMate?

Yes! You can treat your GlowMate like any other stuffed animal. We recommend machine washing on delicate cycle and air dry. The glow will not fade with washing.

What kind of light works on GlowMates?

Purple light will create the strongest glow, but you can also use a regular white light for a moderate glow effect. In addition to the included light pens, animal-shaped purple light pens are also available on our website.

How much ambient light is okay?

Your GlowMate glows brightly enough to be used during the day, but for best performance we recommend using your GlowMate in a dimly lit room. Since GlowMates absorb light, in a very bright room it will be more difficult to see the glow effect.

Our kids love the glow in the dark stuffies. Our youngest giggles while drawing a shirt and tie on his penguin. The stuffies glow clearly, but whatever was drawn fades in just a few minutes and they look perfectly clean again. High build quality.
