The idea is great but the pen battery died 2 weeks in and we were only using it to write goodnight messages to each other once a night.

Great gift! And the girls loved them. They all take theirs to their day camp to show off to the other kids. I ordered these after being scammed by a fake ad on facebook and they were very helpful in informing me of the scam. Customer service was great!
